Saponificio Varesino - Opuntia Shaving Soap, Special Edition Beta 4.3
This special edition shaving soap features Opuntia Ficus-Indica (Prickly Pear Extract). It creates a Protective Film and gives a Deep Moisturization. Triple milled hard soap, to be used with a shaving brush. A REAL traditional shave for a soft, nourished and invigorated skin. Each soap has a UNIQUE formulation, conceived and then developed following the direct requests and expectations of those, like you, who want the maximum comfort during their shave routine, without quality compromises.

The Opuntia edition is based on the extract of the Opuntia Ficus-Indica, or prickly pear, and features the characteristic fragrance of the collection.
A fruity and aromatic fragrance with top notes of bergamot, pineapple and blackcurrant that give way to floral body notes of birch, rose and jasmine. Woody, musky and slightly amber base notes anchored by patchouli, vetiver, white musk and oak moss.
It uses our 'Beta 4.3' formulation - a further step forward in the evolution of our shaving soap in pursuit of enhanced lubrication and protection during the shave and enhanced post-shave skin feel.
The renewed formulation includes a larch tree extract which reduces trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL), making it an excellent choice for those skin types that tend to dryness. It also includes a new vegetal compound, based on castor oil, that gives a lubricating action and helps the razor mechanical action.

Usage advice:
- cover the soap surface with a thin veil of hot water for few minutes. The quantity of water needed may vary depending on your water hardness and the rate of humidity of the soap, a correct quantity is when the whole soap surface is covered by water,
- soak a badger shaving brush (being it the best perfomer when it comes to water absorbing),
- rinse it well and then pour the thin veil of water that bloomed the soap on the knot, and then start loading (20-30 seconds),
- face/bowl lather without adding water.
