Very well made synthetic brush. Knurled anodized aluminum handle has a great grip and heft. Brush knot is ample. Only negative is/(was?) that the tips of the synthetic bristles were so sharp that they pricked my face when working in the soap to a lather and left dots/welts (not an issue I've ever had with a natural badger hair knot). This issue seems to be lessening as the Brush is being used more often. Whether the tips are wearing in slightly or my skin is adjusting I can't tell. Recommend you look into a finishing step in the Brush build to address and prevent it as a negative first impression because the Brush is excellent in all other regards. I chose the synthetic to save the presoaking step so I could shave in the shower more quickly than doing the ritual mug at the sink with my badger Brush.
